I was born in Atlanta, Georgia, but grew up in Summerville, SC, attending Summerville High School. I also spent a large portion of my youth at Edisto Beach. I attended the University of South Carolina and graduated in 2007 with a degree in history.

Outside of work, I enjoy fishing, duck, dove, and deer hunting, following South Carolina football and volunteering with Edisto Beach community events. I have co-chaired the Edisto Island Ducks Unlimited Chapter since 2010, and I am currently in my third term on the Edisto Beach Planning Commission.

I have been in the insurance industry since 2007, working almost exclusively in the Edisto Beach and Edisto Island market. My focus in this area means that I am well versed in the unique needs for insurance in a beach community. I love educating clients about the special set of risks that an owner can encounter when insuring coastal property.
