I grew up in Rock Hill, South Carolina and moved to the Charleston area in 1998. I started my insurance career in January 2000 as an assistant while I was attending college for theatre and broadcasting. I never thought that insurance would become a career, but I have grown to love my job.

I started with C. T. Lowndes & Company in November of 2004 as a personal lines customer service representative at the Charleston office, and now I am an inside salesperson for personal lines at the Mt. Pleasant location.

I love to learn and I believe in the importance of continuing education. I have the designations of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Certified Insurance Sales Representative (CISR), Certified Professional Insurance Woman (CPIW), and I am working towards an accredited advisor in insurance designation.

 I was awarded the South Carolina Educational Achievement Award and the South Carolina Insurance Professional of the Year in 2012 through the International Association of Insurance Professionals.  I served as local president, vice president, secretary, a board member, and on various state and regional committees.

 I am heavily involved in the local skateboarding community.  You will find me rolling around at Sk8 Charleston County Park most Sunday mornings.
